We focus on creating a player-centric training environment that ensures children and youths obtain the skills and confidence necessary to compete at high levels. We strive to develop young athletes to their full soccer potential by providing an enriching training program and coaching sessions that are based on age appropriate training principles.
Mission
Zim Galaxy Soccer Academy was launched October 2021 as a sister academy to YK Galaxy in Yellowknife, Canada. Dillon Torindo, the President of YK Galaxy returned to his birth nation to help his father Edward Torindo, who is a very well-known former player in Zimbabwe. Edward spent several years with CAPS United in the country's top domestic league.
Our academy offers advanced soccer training to players in Harare, Zimbabwe. Our training is designed for motivated individuals who are looking for an opportunity to work with high-level coaches to advance their soccer skills and knowledge of the game.
Technical
We challenge our players on the foundational techniques and skills they need to be brave with the ball, keeping possession, being adept in executing game strategy such as playing from the back & high pressing against superior opponents, as well as being clinical in front of the goal.
